Sa Riera Park

A large urban park for the city of Palma. The transformation of the old riverbed and its surroundings turned obsolete spaces into a great city park for Palma. The design of the park is based on the contrast between natural and artificial. A geometrically arranged Mediterranean wood occupies the upper levels, seen as vantage points overlooking the rest of the park. The intermediate areas are arranged like the terraces of hill farming tradition. The lower esplanade has play areas, benches and a monumental fountain.
