Passeig García Fària

Construction of a new promenade on Barcelona’s seafront, next to a beltway and above an underground car park. The project proposed two strips, each with a different treatment: one is a two-tone asphalt strip for pedestrians, bicycles and jogging lanes, and the other is a linear garden laid out with trapezoidal green spaces to make it permeable to users. The green spaces are raised above the level of the asphalt, offering vantage points overlooking the beach and the sea.
