Los Arcos del Mar Menor University Hospital

The hospital a capacity of 329 beds. There are two levels of access to this four floor building, with a floor between them. The two top floors are occupied by inpatient units combined with outpatient areas, consulting rooms and department offices. This layout groups together all the departments’ patient care and work areas, thereby optimizing staff effectiveness and minimizing circulation. The main façade has a transparent double skin of photovoltaic panels and an information display that runs the entire length of the building.
