Environmental recovery of the embankments of the river Llobregat

This unitary landscape intervention consisted of one-off operations to generate major changes in accessibility to and use of the embankments. The environmental restoration recovered a natural space with its own dynamic and functioning, and addressed the town’s connections with the river. It proposed a form of plantation that was coherent with available water resources. The implementation of mid- to long-term phases guarantees a process of naturalization of the river, which will advance gradually without human intervention being obvious.
