Werfen Campus

The new site is designed as a cutting-edge facility that offers the image of a first-class technological centre. The project is the result of reflecting on two fundamental issues: - The first is how to insert a large building into the sloping site of Can Montcau, on the outskirts of the town of Lliçà d’Amunt. - The second is how to address the functional, programmatic and technical conditions of a modern laboratory installation. The layout of the modular volumes, separated by courtyards, offers a sequence that creates a long façade to provide ideal ventilation and lighting for the laboratories.
