Cultural Center Sinti and Roma

Located in one of the most important cities of the German cultural and historical heritage, the proposed architectural concept aims to be respectful and inclusive, without giving up on attractiveness and uniqueness. Creating a simple body that matches the sloped roofs of the old town and the former warehouse integrated in the proposal. The volume of the building is divided into parts that take on the scale of the surrounding buildings. The volumetrics merge with the roofs of Heidelberg's historic center and find a balance between integration and uniqueness.
